Step into the charm of 19th-century elegance with this rare and distinctive fiery stick pin. 

During the Georgian and Victorian eras, Coral was believed to offer protection, warding off illness, evil spirits, and danger.

This beautiful Victorian pin features a striking group of 11 natural Mediterranean coral cornos assembled together, depicting a flickering flame, set on a silver-tone brass pin. In Georgian and Victorian jewellery, fire and flames were rich in symbolism, often representing love, passion, transformation, and the enduring nature of the soul.

Measuring approximately 9 cm long by 1.8 cm wide, and weighing around 7.6 grams.

Acquired from an antique auction house, along with an almost identical coral pin, which I plan to sell separately here in the future.

As with all antique pieces, some wear and tear is present, adding to the history and character of this unique item.
