A delightful antique Late Victoria / Edwardian 10k gold round locket featuring a delicate front design.
The piece is 10 ct gold with a lovely seed pearls and small rubies art nouveau embellishment.
It’s in good antique/used condition with small signs of age - such as the back of it has a very small dent and the gold has an antique/used light rose gold shine to it - to which in my opinion only adds to its timeless mysterious beauty. Antique items are almost always pre-worn and will typically have some level of wear - Please refer to the images.
The heart locket has no hallmarks - acid tested positive as 10k gold
It measures approximately 3.4 cm (including bail) by 2.9 cm and it weighs approximately 7.6 grams.
The chain on image 9 is just used as a reference.
