Antique 14k Coral Beaded Necklace, Edwardian 14 ct Clasp, Natural Coral Bead, Graduated Coral Bead 1900s, Mediterranean Orange Pink Coral

Marvellous antique coral beaded necklace featuring a strand of graduated coral beads, with the largest bead measuring approximately 0.5 cm by 0.8 cm, and the smallest beads measuring about 0.2 cm by 0.4 cm. The necklace measures approximately 65.5 cm in length and weighs around 28.8 grams.

This exquisite piece dates back to the late Victorian or Edwardian era and showcases coral beads in a beautiful pink-orange hue. The barrel clasp, crafted from 14k gold and tested positive for its purity, adds a touch of elegance despite lacking a hallmark. Additionally, the necklace is adorned with a delightful natural coral horn, also mounted on 14k gold, adding an extra touch of uniqueness.

The coral necklace remains in its original state, retaining its authenticity. It is being sold exactly as it was acquired from a distinguished antique dealer in Italy, untouched by modern cleaning methods.

In good antique/used condition displaying minor signs of wear that attest to its authenticity and history, the coral has an uneven aged/used natural quality to it - to which in my opinion only add to its true aged splendour.
