Antique 14k Gold Foot Ex Voto Pendant

An exceptional Victorian (ex voto) religious offering pendant shaped as a leg.

Lovely brown/caramel carved horn depicting a foot/leg. The ex voto charm is mounted on an embellished 14k gold case with a 14k gold anklet around the leg (no hallmark - acid-tested positive as 14k gold).

In good antique/used condition with some signs of age on its surface, to which in my opinion only add to its antique magic splendour. It has all the carved toes (Antique items are almost always pre-worn and will typically have some level of wear - Please refer to the images)

It measures approximately 2.5 cm (including the bail) by 1.6 cm and it weighs approximately 1.17 grams.

The leg pendant is sold on its own. The chain on image 9 is just used as a reference.

All together an incredible piece of jewellery carrying much mystery and old tradition.
