An rare Victorian carved bone Figa hand with stong features.
This 19th Century bone figa is mounted on a solid 18k gold base (no hallmark - tested positive as 18k gold).
It measures approximately 4.5 cm by 1.4 cm - including bail. It weighs approximately 5.6 grams.
It is in good antique/used condition with the usual small signs of ageing and use to which in my opinion only add to its antique splendour. (Antique items are almost always pre-worn and will typically have some level of wear - Please refer to the images).
The chain on image 8 is just used as a reference.
Figa Symbol is used for Evil Eye Protection and Good Luck.
