Antique 18k Gold Coral Figa Charm

Antique late 1800s red/orange natural coral hand charm.

This lovely Mano Fico is mounted on an 18K gold embellished case (no hallmark - acid-tested positive as 18k gold).

The hand pendant is carved on natural Mediterranean Coral.

This Victorian charming figa pendant is in good antique/used condition with small signs of age. The coral surface is a little timeworn and the gold case a little distressed - a proof of its age, to which in my opinion only adds its true mystery. Antique items are almost always pre-worn and will typically have some level of wear - please refer to the images for reference.

Small, the figa measures approximately 2.8 cm long (including bail) by 0.6 cm wide.
It weighs approximately 1.04 grams

The chain on image 7 is just used as a reference.

The Mano Figa was initially the symbol incanting fertility and later becoming a mighty lucky charm against bad luck.
