Antique 18k Gold Natural Italian Coral Necklace, Sardinian Red Coral Choker, Coral Branch, Early 20th Century Coral Beads, 1930s

This striking antique necklace is strung with vibrant natural red Italian coral, full of life and movement thanks to its textured, organically shaped branches. The deep sardinian hue leans towards burnt orange-red – rich, earthy, and warm against the skin.

At just 36 cm in length and approximately 1.5 cm in width, it's a close-fitting choker-style piece with presence. The 18k gold clasp (acid-tested, no hallmark) adds a touch of refined contrast and is set with a coral cabochon, echoing the necklace’s natural shapes.

The coral beads are wonderfully irregular – some tubular, some rounded, others stubby or with charming pitting – a classic feature of natural Mediterranean coral. The overall weight is approx. 36 grams.

In good antique/used condition with some small signs of ageing to which in my opinion only add to its beauty.  Such as the back of the solid 18k gold clasp has some time related marks. Antique items are almost always pre-worn and will typically have some level of wear. Please refer to images.
