Antique 18K Gold & Stained Horn Figa Pendant, Mano Fico Lucky Charm, Fig Hand Amulet with Fish Charm, Italian Talisman, Victorian Pendant

A lovely  antique Mano Fico (Figa) pendant, hand-carved from stained horn and adorned with finely crafted 18k gold details. 

Traditionally worn throughout Italy as a protective amulet, the Figa is believed to bring good fortune while warding off the evil eye.

The hand is finished with an ornate 18k gold cap, delicate gold fingernails and a twisted gold bracelet. It holds a small gold bar suspending an 18k gold fish charm alongside two tiny glass beads in vibrant red and warm amber. The fish is a traditional symbol of prosperity and abundance, adding another layer of meaning to this charming piece.

Although unhallmarked, all gold elements have been acid tested as 18k gold.

The pendant is in good antique condition, with light age related wear that reflects its history and authenticity without diminishing its appeal. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
