Antique 9k Gold Bone Figa Pendant, Victorian Coral Flower Amulet

A rare and enchanting late Victorian figa pendant, nicely carved from natural bone and adorned with 9k gold details. The hand’s delicate features include a finely chased gold cuff, a tiny gold bracelet, and individually crafted gold nails, each detail showing late 19th-century craftsmanship and symbolism.

In its grasp rests a coral rose, symbolising love, grace, and protection, a tender contrast to the figa’s traditional strength and defiance. Together they embody protection through love, the meeting of power and gentleness.

This piece was acquired from an Italian antique dealer, alongside another similar bone figa holding a coral rose, which will be offered for sale here in the near future.

Despite its age, the pendant remains in beautiful antique condition, showing only small signs of age and use, that enhances its authenticity and charm.
