Antique 9k Gold Stained Horn Ex Voto Foot Pendant

A delightful Victorian (ex voto) religious offering pendant shaped as a leg.

Striking dark brown/blackish stained horn foot pendant with a 9k gold base, a anklet around the leg and nails - no hallmark - acid tested positive as 9k gold.

Totally original and rare this votive offering is dated from the late 1800s.

In good vintage condition with some signs of age, to which in my opinion only add to its antique magic splendour. (Antique items are almost always pre-worn and will typically have some level of wear - Please refer to the images)

It measures approximately 2.6 cm (including the bail) by 1.4 cm and it weighs approximately 0.9 grams.

The chain on image 7 is just used as a reference.

All together an incredible piece of jewellery carrying much mystery and old tradition.
