Antique 9k Gold Stained Horn Figa, Victorian Figa Charm

A very unique late Victorian fist pendant with delightful charms hanging from it.

This fist pendant is made of dark stained horn and it's mounted on a gorgeous 9k rose gold embellished cap. It has a beautiful 9k gold bangle around the wrist and 9k gold nails (no hallmarks - acid tested positive as 9k gold).

The hand is grasping, a probably later addition 9k gold bar with five beautiful antique charms hanging from it:
1. a miniature antique coral figa mounted on a 9k gold cap
2. an antique bone fish with 9k gold bail
3. an antique wooden bell mounted on a 9k gold cap
4. a miniature antique bone skull with 9k gold hook and bail
5. an antique Mediterranean coral shaped as a horn with a gold plated hook and a 9k gold bail

In good antique/used condition, the Mano Fico has some signs of age - to which in my opinion only add to its true timeless magic. (Antique items are always pre-worn and will typically have some level of wear). Please refer to images for condition and further details.

The hand pendant measures approximately 7.8 cm (including the bail and charms) by 2 cm. It weighs approximately 7.5 grams.

The chain on image 7 is just used as a reference.

This is a typical example of a charm figa that has been treasured, loved and used through out its life time. It’s sold as exactly as it was purchased from an estate sale in Europe together with a group of other antique hand pendants.
