Antique Black 14k Gold Figa Charm 1930s

A delightful Victorian black resin Figa Pendant.

This hand amulet is mounted on an embellished 14k gold base, it has 14k gold nails - (no hallmark - acid tested as 14k gold). Around the wrist there is 9k gold bangle (no hallmark - acid tested as 9k gold).

The figa measures approximately 4.3 cm long (including bail) by 1.3 cm wide, and it weighs approximately 3 grams.

In good antique/used condition with small signs of use/age on the surface to which in my opinion only add to its antique timeless beauty. (Antique items are almost always pre-worn and will typically have some level of wear - Please refer to the images).

The chain on image 7 is just used as a reference.

The figa hand is used for magical protection against the evil eye and other forms of bad luck. The figa is known across the world.
