A rare and collectable Mother of Pearl late victorian fist pendant, adorned with a delicate miniature Mother of Pearl pig. 

I've encountered a few of these remarkable pieces featuring animal motifs suspended from their fists, and they never fail to captivate me. This particular pendant is being offered as it was originally acquired in the continent. .

The figa pendant is nicely carved, providing a tactile and visually appealing experience. Mounted on a embellished silver case, the hand charm is mounted a silver bracelet encircling the wrist and adorned with a small turquoise. The hand is holding a silver bar/ring and a miniature pig.

In good antique/used condition, the hand charm exhibits minor signs of age on its mother of pearl surface of the thumb, that in my opinion, only enhance its intrinsic timeless beauty. Antique items are typically pre-worn, and some level of wear is expected. Please refer to the images for a detailed view of its condition.

Measuring approximately 5.6 cm in length (including the bail) and 1.8 cm in width, the pendant weighs approximately 7.7 grams. 

It serves as a delightful and powerful lucky charm against the evil eye.
