A rare antique Portuguese charm pendant from the early 20th century, finely crafted in solid 19.2k Portuguese gold with a soft rose hue, a characteristic tone achieved through the traditionally used by Portuguese goldsmiths, known for its warm, slightly pink lustre. Hallmarked with the boar’s head for Portugal’s 800 gold standard. Acid tested positive as high karat gold.
This beautifully detailed piece features a fluted conical base crowned by a bouquet-like cluster of star-set blue stones and white pearls, a design typical of northern Portuguese jewellery from the Victorian and early 20th century periods.
