Antique Victorian 10k Gold Coral Skull Pendant

An extraordinary natural late Victorian Mediterranean Coral Memento Mori charm.

This antique beautiful hand carved natural orange pinkish Coral skull depicts an unusual featured jaw that captures the viewer's attention - the low left side of the mandible is not carved, a true sign of its age and antique hand carved singularity.

Acquired in Italy from an antique dealer (together with a group of other antique coral pendants), this Victorian Coral beauty is a rare and collectable late 1800s symbolic reminder of mortality.

In good antique condition with small signs of ageing and an uneven aged/used natural quality to it which in my opinion only add to its antique timeless appeal. Please refer to the images.

The skull measures approximately 2 cm (including bail) long by 1.1 cm wide.
The total weigh of the pin is approximately 2 grams.
