A captivating antique Victorian figa charm, finely carved from natural bone delicately wrapped with an 18k gold bracelet, accented with gold nails and finished with a matching gold bail. Though unhallmarked, the gold has been acid tested and confirmed as 18k gold.

Believed to date from the late 19th century, this expressive Mano Fico pendant reflects the enduring traditions of Southern Europe, where the figa hand was worn as a protective talisman. The gesture symbolises defence against the evil eye, while also embodying wishes for good fortune, fertility, and personal strength.

The bone has developed a gentle, time-softened patina, and the gold shows subtle signs of age, all consistent with an authentic antique jewel that has lived a long and storied life. These traces of wear are not flaws, but rather part of the charm and mystery that only genuine Victorian pieces possess.
