This stunning 9 ct rose gold Albertina late Victorian bracelet is very special.
The chain features 3 chains, a fob and engraved barrels.
Albertina chains were originally used to hold a woman’s pocket watch, this one fits perfectly as a bracelet.
It measures approximately 21.5 cm long by 0.9 cm wide, with an extra 5cm chain and fob hanging from it. The bracelet weighs approximately 18 grams of gold
It has the antique '9C' hallmark - typical of late Victorian English stamp - Acid tested positive as 9k gold. Also it has a spring ring clasp. Spring ring clasps were introduced in the late 1890's.
It’s been sold exactly as it was originally acquired from another antique dealer in London.
