Antique Victorian Carnelian Agate Gold Cased Fob Seal Pendant

A special Victorian metal base seal intaglio fob pendant set with an agate wonderfully carved.

The openwork gold metal has an embellished design holding a carnelian stone set into the base. This delightful carnelian is depicting a lovely mysterious design. In my opinion it looks like a set of stars, a river with tall grass on each side and an easter asian pagoda.

In good antique/used condition with small signs of age - such a as the metal work is a little discolored in some parts - to which in my opinion only adds to its true timeless beauty. Antique items are almost always pre-worn and will typically have some level of wear - Please refer to the images.

The fob pendant measures approximately 2.7 cm by 2 cm, and it weighs approximately 5.1 grams.
