A charming late Victorian natural coral figa, beautifully hand carved from orange-red coral and dating to the late 19th century.

This wonderfully tactile Mano Fico pendant is carved in a delightfully primitive style, giving it all the character and warmth one hopes to find in genuine antique jewellery. It is mounted in its original gold-plated cap, accented with a small turquoise cabochon that adds a subtle touch of colour.

Traditionally worn as a protective talisman, the figa has long been associated with good fortune and protection against the evil eye, making it a meaningful piece as well as a beautiful one.
