This exquisite and rare Victorian pendant features a stunning antique long cornetto horn crafted from natural Mother of Pearl, elegantly mounted on an 18k gold embellished case.

The charming twig/branch design pendant is in good antique/used condition, exhibiting subtle signs of age that, in my opinion, enhance its inherent beauty. As with most antique items, some wear is expected, please refer to images.

No hallmarks - acid tested positive as 18k gold.

Dating back to the late Victorian era, this rare corno pendant boasts a substantial size, measuring approximately 6.5 cm (including bail) by 1 cm, and weighs approximately 4.9 grams.

The cornetto, an Italian amulet or talisman, traditionally worn to ward off the evil eye, has historically been associated with promoting fertility and virility.
