A rare and utterly enchanting find, this 1950s Figa pendant is crafted from iridescent abalone shell (mother of pearl) in shimmering hues of white and pinkish purple with ornate 18k gold details.
The elegant mano figa (hand charm) — symbolising protection and strength — is mounted on a richly detailed 18k gold case, wears a delicate 18k gold bracelet, and holds a finely crafted 18k gold key. Although unmarked, all gold elements have been acid tested as 18k.
In good vintage/used condition with signs of age to which in my opinion only add to its antique magic splendour. (Vintage items are almost always pre-worn and will typically have some level of wear - Please refer to the images).
This striking pendant was originally sourced from a private estate in continental Europe and carries all the graceful signs of time. It is in good antique condition, with minor wear consistent with age and history — which, in my opinion, only enhances its timeless appeal.
