This vintage (circa 1950s) continental precious 18 ct gold medal is depicting an embossed image of Saint Therese of Lisieux holding a crucifix covered with roses.

The medal is of solid 18k gold - stamped M&DA 18k - acid tested positive as 18k gold.
The religious medal measures approximately 2.1 cm (including bail) by 1.2 cm.
It weighs approximately 1.3 grams of gold.
The chain on image 7 is just used as a reference.
“Thérèse of Lisieux - born Marie Françoise-Thérèse Martin (2 January 1873 – 30 September 1897), also known as Saint Therese of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face, was a French Catholic Discalced Carmelite nun who is widely venerated in modern times. She is popularly known in English as the Little Flower of Jesus, or simply the Little Flower.
Thérèse has been a highly influential model of sanctity for Catholics and for others because of the simplicity and practicality of her approach to the spiritual life. She is one of the most popular saints in the history of the church,[4][5] although she was obscure during her lifetime.[6] Pope Pius X called her "the greatest saint of modern times”.[7][8]”
