A striking vintage solid 18k yellow gold signet ring, engraved with an intriguing unidentified coat of arms.

The shield appears to show a dog, hound or wolf-like animal, with a crescent below and a small fleur-de-lis or floral charge above. The engraving has softened slightly with age, so I cannot confidently attribute it to a specific family, but it gives the ring real character and a lovely sense of mystery.
