Vintage 18k Stone Figa, 1970s 18 ct Gold Hand, Green Jade, Figa Charm

Marvellous dark green natural stone hand carved as a Figa pendant.

Possibly Jade, this large and precious 1970s carved dark green stone hand charm is mounted on an 18k gold case with an 18k bracelet (no hallmark - acid tested positive as 18k gold). Both the bracelet and the case have each a natural stone decorating. 

In good vintage/used condition with the usual small signs of ageing - to which in my opinion only add to its true time related splendour (antique items are almost always pre-worn and will typically have some level of wear - please refer to images). 

The hand has all the attributes of a mid-century carved pendant.

The hand measures approximately 7 cm (including bail) by 1.5 cm and it weighs approximately 9.8 grams.

The chain on image 7 is just used as a reference.

The figa/fist hand is used for magical protection against the evil eye and other forms of bad luck. 

A mighty lucky charm against bad luck.
