A striking 1960s vintage red Figa (Mano Fico) charm, crafted from early resinand mounted in a faded gold colour metal. This expressive fist amulet is a classic symbol of protection, luck, and the warding off of negative energy, widely used in Brazil and across Afro-Latin cultures.

The hand holds a twisted gold-tone ring from which hang four miniature charms, each full of character:

• a berimbau (Brazilian musical bow),

• a tambourine (pandeiro),

• a bottle,

• and a small gourd water jug (moringa).
