Vintage Tiger’s Eye Figa Charm in 18k Gold, Italian Mano Fico Pendant, Protective Hand Talisman, Mid Century Lucky Charm

A beautifully sculpted tiger’s eye figa charm mounted in rich 18k gold, a small talisman with remarkable warmth and presence.

Carved from glowing golden-brown tiger’s eye with soft bands of honey, caramel and smoky tones, the hand seems almost alive in changing light. The stone’s natural chatoyancy gives the surface a silky shimmer that shifts beautifully as it moves.

The figa, or mano fico, is one of Europe’s oldest protective amulets. Traditionally worn to ward off ill fortune and the evil eye, it also became a symbol of strength, resilience and quiet defiance. Combined here with tiger’s eye, long associated with courage, grounding and protection.

This charm originally formed part of a substantial continental gold charm bracelet acquired from an antique dealer, and I have been offering the individual charms separately.

The hand is mounted with an 18k gold cap, gold ring and small bail, all acid-tested positive as 18k gold.

The piece remains in good vintage condition, with gentle signs of age and light surface wear consistent with time and use. In my opinion, these only add to its character and authenticity. Please study the photographs carefully.
